C + C DESIGN STUDIO's approach is the grounded in the search for contextually appropriate solutions. Special emphasis is given to the response to climate, the existing scale and character of the context, appropriate use of materials and construction techniques, and the development of the project aesthetic as a result of the specific conditions.
At C + C DESIGN STUDIO, our ability to listen , comprehend and ask the right questions about a project is proven. We do not have a singular design aesthetic. Design is not style. Design is a process by which we discover what our clients are about and how to convey their message, culture and image through the built environment, Matrices and guidelines may tell us size, standards, and functions, but it's our process, experience and ability that will create a space or building that reflects the client's identity.
Founded by CHITHAN KMC in 2012, is commited to provide world class solutions for the built environment. He has through his experience of almost a decade in Dubai, completed projects across all sectors within the industry. He has an extensive knowledge and deep understanding in construction industry and Authority process for any challenging projects.
Chithan is a post graduate in Architecture (Urban Design) from Mackintosh school of Architecture, University of Glasgow, UK. He is registered with multiple International bodies Like The Royal Institute of British Architects, Society of Engineers UAE, Council of Architecture India, Associate Indian Institute of Architects, Associate institute of Indian Interior Design, International Architects and Planners associations.
In his extensive decade of experience as a design professional in UK, UAE, INDIA and abroad, he has worked on a wide range of projects ranging from, Urban Design and Master Planning, Luxury Villas, Mixed Use Development, IT Campuses, Commercial, Retail, Residential Developments and Interiors. Chithan is recognized as a highly skilled Architect and Urban Designer with collaborative approach to design.
Chithan is a people person. His ability to see things from the client's viewpoint and to get into the mindset of users is key to the way C+C practice architecture. He is a great strategist with a keen attention to detail. He seen the opportunity in everything and uses this to raise the aspirations of those around him.
Chithans architectural approach emerges from broad cultural research, with each project expressing a specific response to place, community and landscape. This has produced a portfolio of projects of distinct identity encompassing urban design, housing, education and buildings for the arts. His work is always attracted for its conceptual rigour, scilptural quality and ingenious detailing. He works closely with the clients and look forward to continually expand and develop new designs and methods, we can leave a legacy of which we can be proud.
